[Case Study] Environmental Radiation Monitoring System
On-site regular inspection support! Introducing examples of systems that support analog and pulse inputs from multiple sensors.
We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of the "Environmental Radiation Monitoring System" by Kacho Corporation. Since the interfaces for the rain gauge, tipping bucket rain gauge, wind direction, and wind speed sensors are respectively a voltage-free make contact, two-contact type, encoder, and magnetic pulse, it is necessary to perform individual calculations with AD conversion of the analog signals and a gateway. In response to this challenge, we devised a solution to design and produce a board that can handle the analog signals from the meteorological sensors. 【Issues Addressed】 ■ Since the interfaces for the rain gauge, tipping bucket rain gauge, wind direction, and wind speed sensors are respectively a voltage-free make contact, two-contact type, encoder, and magnetic pulse, it is necessary to perform individual calculations with AD conversion of the analog signals and a gateway. ■ Local verification of sensor data values is required during regular inspections. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
